This piece is roughly 6″ x 4″ ; my work in progress piece was a bit smaller and also the settings were way too high causing most of the detail to be lost, so I decided to redo it. I learned quite a bit from the first full version I made in terms of what *not* to do… this version has better power + speed settings for engraving, adjusted vector paths so that some tiny pieces didn’t just get incinerated when being cut, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The white and dark brown lines you see were painted in afterwards to add extra highlights and shadows — the paintbrush used was about the width of a toothpick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
