For my altered toys design, I decided to based mine off of Barbie doll clothes. Barbie doll clothes is usually made out of fabric that you can stretch to fit the doll almost perfectly. My toy design consists of three (maybe more) pieces of clothes that will be made out of plastic. The rigidness of the material does not allow for the clothing item to fit on anyone that isn’t exactly to the size it was designed for. This, was also a take on today’s fast fashion industry where the sizing and construction of clothes often times does not fit anyone quite right. Clothes is often made for an “ideal” body type that rarely anyone is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
