My inspiration for this project comes from 80s era nintendo and NES games. I decided to make a simple cube but then engrave and cut each side with cool details themed around a specific game. The top will have an NES lego cutout and the bottom will be blank and serve as a base. The 5 engraved pieces will be glued together and the base will be left separate to easily work with a light source.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is my rough design concept, I am unsure exactly what parts I want to cut out, but a of right now I will probably cut out the text for sure. As I work in inkscape, I will probably have a better idea of how to implement the cuts and engraves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
