Altered Toy WIP -Mikayla Raffin

Here is the 3D model I generated for my mini skate park design. I a couple angles so you could clearly see the different features that I wanted to add. Also in one of the screen shots I removed some of the featured from the base of the design and laid them down in a way that would require smaller supports that were not also attached to the base of the piece. This way I can print these pieces separate and remove the supports without disturbing the rest of the piece and then just attached them after the fact.

I was wondering if I should add anything to the base shape? I was thinking about painting it similar to one of the inspiration images in my design post for this project and add some graffiti type art around the base, but if there’s a way I could alter the shape to add some more interest I am open to suggestions.

I don’t think you need to add anything to the base shape. With the skateboard and railing added to the design, your level of detail is great.

I notice the detail on the stairs. I think it looks really good. What type of paint do you plan on using to do the art and graffiti? I really like this idea. I think it’s super cool and I can’t wait to see how it comes out.

The graffiti sounds like an awesome idea. If you want more fun details you could add a small light to the lamp post. I think the base shape and layout are really good. It is easy to recognize and includes the key features of a skate park.

I think the graffiti would look really cool. I like the base shape, but if you wanted it to look different you could round the corners or edges.

I am impressed by how well some of the smaller details came out, such as the stair railings.
Is it the same scale as the original skateboards?
I think the graffiti will be perfect for this design.
