My idea for the lantern project is to make a light-up sign. I’m going to cut a design out of wood and then shine LEDs through from the back. My original plan was to make it similar to a neon sign using special LED strips however, I had trouble getting the strips so I changed the concept slightly so the lights would go on the back instead of on top.

The green part will be cut out.
