I chose to laser cut my first drawing of flowers. Some of the lines came out darker than others, and some of the lines are visible on the back of the piece so I will have to play around with the power and number of passes for future pieces. Overall I’m happy with the result.

I am visually pleased with the repeating pattern of the flower petals.
I noticed the use of overlap to create a depth of objects. I’m struck by the simplicity of the drawing and I appreciate the theme/idea
I noticed a fierce botanical showdown! I’m struck by how the wood is scorched to perfection, oh how I wish I could dial in my constants to such precision. I appreciate the way you water your plants, very healthy and greatly visualizes the process of gardening.
Your flowers are similar but not repetitive. I am getting a relaxed vibe from your piece. I appreciate the way you combined the different elements of your piece, the pots, water can, and shovel, into a cohesive scene.
I noticed the symmetry within the flower pots. I am pleased by your use of resizing. I find it very visually appealing the way you reused the flowerpot design. I appreciate the story that the image is telling.
I notice how visually pleasing the all the different lines are, especially the lines of the petals. I really appreciate how complete the picture looks!
I like that you made 3 pots instead of just 1. It makes the full artwork complete and cohesive.
I appreciate the dainty vibe your piece gives off. The layering of the flowers is awesome!
I notice the depth of the piece and the number of flowers in each pot is even when typically people like to have odd numbers for good luck. I’m intrigued with how the depth of the laser cuts plays into the objects position in the overall composition and how the overlap of the flower pats creates a foreground and background for the piece. I like the overall vibe of this piece and the detail that can be observed.
