I have separated out all of my layers, and I have a laser appointment on Thursday to start cutting out my layers. The main question I have is if I should raster more? I am debating rastering the dinos and/or the mountains to create more texture, but I am not exactly sure what I specifically I would raster onto the pieces. Thanks!

I ended up not adding more rastering. Here are the pieces cut and placed out:

And here are the pieces painted and glued together:

The alignment didn’t turn out perfectly, but I think it is good for my first attempt at a bigger laser cut project. I am wondering if there is a good way to hang it up on the wall?
I appreciate the smiles on the dinos faces. I like how the shapes are simple and fun, in my opinion it is not necessary to add more texture to them. What material are you planning to use?
I noticed the dinos faces as well, in my opinion I think you could raster a little more to add some more dimension to the dinos or their background.
I like the smiles on the dinos and the smooth shapes of the piece.
In my opinion I think rastering some shadows on the mountains and dinos to show light source and how that plays into the piece would be cool to include. I also think it will give the piece a more dynamic feel.
What is your plan for color?
I notice what looks like a little top hat piece.
I think that a potential place where you could raster would be at the tops of the mountain to maybe give a snow effect.
How do you plan on attaching everything together?
I really like the art style of the dinos! If you wanted to add more rastering i think adding a pattern like spots or stripes to the dinos would look cool.
I’m getting a happy feeling with the smiles on the dinosaurs. I still love this idea. How do you plan to color it?
As for your raster question, I think that may just be a personal preference. I think it could be great either way.
