For drawing #2 I decided to trace a picture of my dog, Hobbs, holding a penguin toy. I am thinking of experimenting with two different levels of raster engraving, to try to differentiate between the brown and the black colors.

My drawing #3 turned into this. It is a few cosine waves being multiplied together, and then the points are plotted. I think for this one, before I go to laser cut it, I will have to edit it in Inkscape to that it is more smooth and there aren’t a million dots everywhere. I think it kind of looks like fish.
