I have mapped out and saved SVGs with all my intended cuts. I have both the shape of the flower being cut out, as well as 5x5in squares cut around each piece as well. I am now just waiting on materials to ship so I can start the cutting process. The main question I am still trying to answer is how am I going to attach the pieces to each other?
Update: I was able to get most of my pieces cut out. I am waiting on one last sheet of acrylic before I can start putting things together. The way I cut things out allows for a lot of flexibility with how I might put it together and I’m currently decided what I think looks best.
I noticed the angle of the petals in your cuts. Maybe you could make cuts in the lower levels where you want them to line up and use a rod to lock them in place? Or you could do it to all of them and make it like the inside of a flower?
