This is my completed layers project, I ended up making two versions of the sculpture. The first version is the bigger one on the left it has 9 layers, I used sharpie to color every other layer to give it the intended visual effect. The middle layer is white as I had accidentally colored it with sharpie, though not intended I do like the look. The sculpture on the right is the second version which is 12 layers tall but no where near as wide. I also switched which layers have been colored with sharpie on each side to make it look different from each side. It was a little difficult to glue the layers together since the pieces were small and of varying sizes but I like how it turned out.
