For my lantern project I had some issues but this is the finished version. I ended up printing two small hexagon rings to try and hold the lantern together. It kind of works but not exactly how I wanted it too. If I get the time next term I am going to reprint the lantern in organic filament and paint it green and also print a base for it to sit in so I can place it on my desk. I still got the lantern to function so I am still happy with the end result.
I think it turned out well, One thing that may also help is if you make a mold for it to fit in next time so if you glue anything together you can ensure it stays in the proper shape as it does look like a complicated design to work with. I am impressed with how it turned out as that wouldn’t be easy to do.
