This is the progress I’ve made so far on my layers project. This is the finished design for all the layers except the sun and birds layer. I should be done with the different layers tonight and I hope to print sometime this week. The current dimensions of the camper are 6″ by 11″. Should I keep it this size or would it be more beneficial to size it down a bit? I will be using 1/8 inch plywood.

Update: I have successfully laser cut my camper. My plan now is to paint and glue it all together. I have acrylic paint I was possibly going to use but I am also open to trying out wood dye.
I noticed the detail on the moose/deer antlers. I personally think you should size it according to what you are going for if it is supposed to be a painting or wall hang I think you could keep it that size. This shape reminds me of a magnet and if you are going for something more like a magnet or trinket in my opinion you should size it down.
I find that size depends on how you want to display it and what kind of room you have for your preferred method of displaying. Smaller sizes could work really well for a desk display, while larger sizes could be a striking piece for a wall.
I think the size is good for showing all the small details of the artwork, but it may make it hard to display in some places.
I noticed how easy it is to tell that the outline is an RV.
Why did you end up choosing a moose and a wolf?
In my opinion, this is awesome.
I’m excited to see this come together! I’m curious to know whether the camper outline will be more of a frame — where its outline is the thickest part and everything else is inside it like a shadow box — or a baseplate — where it is a flat piece that is the farthest thing from the viewer.
I also think that size is dependent on how you want to display the piece. I think the larger size will be better for your smaller details like all the animals rather than if you made it any smaller. I also really like how all the layers are coming together it looks super cool and I am excited to see how you plan on coloring it!
