Hello everyone! I’m Calvin Page. I’m an RBE & ME double major and senior from San Diego, California.

Art fits into my life as a hobby that allows me to better understand the world. I occasionally enjoy photography and creative lighting as different ways to both create and capture interesting settings and spaces. Below are some shots that I have taken in the last year or so:

I love making things and opening opportunities for others to do so as well. I am on the Technician team in the Makerspace where we manage the maintenance of the 3D printers and laser cutters. This job is very rewarding as I get to both learn how to maintain machines and help other students get their projects finished. Below is a self portrait that I captured while taking a photography course while working on a 3D printer in the Makerspace.

I love experimenting with light and how it can be captured or created with photography and technology. Pictured below are experiments I’ve done with long exposure photography and an LED installation I had in my dorm a few years back.
