As I shared in class, I created my lantern model using Solidworks and printed it in PLA. I wanted to continue with the nature theme, so I created basic geometric flowers. I enjoy the simplicity and symmetry of this design, but asked the class what I can add to make it more interesting. I plan to paint the exterior and interior contrasting shades of blue for my final design, which added more depth to the project while keeping its integrity.
