

For my altered toys project I made a large scale lego-man and I am painting it to reflect feminine features. Growing up, legos were always my favorite toy, but I was told that they were “boy toys” and there was rarely female representation. Now there are “legos for girls” that are pink and typically more expensive (the pink tax even on kids toys).
I like this idea, I think they have tried to be more inclusive lately but its always interesting to see how people represent themselves in their art so I am looking forward to seeing it. I am curious how you will finish the coloring of the clothes and other possible decoration.
