First Cut – Deanna Polosino

For my first cut, I choose my first drawing to engrave and cut. I had some issues importing my drawing to the laser cutter but this was the final result.

For my second drawing I used Inkscape to create a photo engrave of a bands logo. Then I used the square and circle tools to make the cut lines. For my third drawing I messed around with the code until I got the pattern, shape, thickness, and color I wanted.

For this assignment, I made a keychain of my pet frog I had in high school. I used a previous drawing I made of him as a reference and traced that to make the engraving for the keychain. He is a Northern Leopard Frog named Alfredo.
