For my altered toy project I want to 3d print a Lego Brickhead of Russell from the movie UP. Growing up I loved playing with Legos and UP is one of my all time favorite movies so I thought I would combine the two. My plan is to 3d print out the Lego pieces, paint them, and assemble them like It was a Lego kit. Hopefully it’s as easy as that but we will see because you never know what challenges I can run into along the way
What kind of paint do you plan to use and how many pieces is your design?
My suggestion that might bring your toy to life more is if you made one of the buttons on the sash the purple soda cap pin. I think it would add a nice touch and reference to the movie.
This is cool! You might want to think about using a higher precision level on the printer to account for the fine details!
I love this idea! I think, if its possible, to print the legos in the final color you want them to be instead of painting or doing it for more common colors.
