This piece is roughly 6″ x 4″ ; my work in progress piece was a bit smaller and also the settings were way too high causing most of the detail to be lost, so I decided to redo it. I learned quite a bit from the first full version I made in terms of what *not* to do… this version has better power + speed settings for engraving, adjusted vector paths so that some tiny pieces didn’t just get incinerated when being cut, etc.

The white and dark brown lines you see were painted in afterwards to add extra highlights and shadows — the paintbrush used was about the width of a toothpick!
