My progress on the lantern has been slow due to not be able to get on the laser, but I had a session where I could test cut the design. I rastered one part of the design that had too many lines for the laser to cut without leaving a hole. When I lasered the whole design the laser strangely went off axis and started cutting into another piece. If I have time I will try to re cut this piece with better support and fixing whatever happened that made the design get cut off center.
