This is a modified lego differential that I designed. A differential is a gearbox that allows two output shafts to turn at different speeds while only being driven off of one output. When I used to build with legos, I always wanted one that would fit in a tighter space than the normal one. I viewed this as the perfect opportunity to model this. For my suggestion, I would make sure your geometry accounts for fitting the gears into place. I think it would work fine the way you have it now but its been a long day.
I would suggest making the inner gears tan like the usual smaller lego gears and making the housing grey like you have it. Doing this might look more like traditional LEGOs.
You might need to use SLA for printing this as the beveled gear teeth are quite small. The downside to this would be most SLA materials are very brittle which isn’t good for gears. If you do there are some newer materials to experiment with.

I would suggest making a couple of prints to ensure that the pieces fit together well as the print will not come out 100% to scale
I also suggest maybe playing with different colors.
I would suggest using something a different design for the box in between the gears because it looks like it could cause a lot of friction.
I suggest trying to add the functionality of a locking diff!
