I am the youngest of four brothers, and they have always been an incredibly important part of my life. I decided to create this piece by recreating an image from 12 years ago when we were all still living together as actual “kids.” This original image (attached below) was of the 4 of us watching the sunset out across our backyard, and so I wanted to replace what would be the sun setting with a heart and a 4 cut out of it to represent how important the bond that we have with each other is.
