First Cuts – Percy

on

I had some issue with the vector lines (that I thankfully believe I now know how to fix, I just didn’t have the tools at my disposal next to the laser) that caused most of the detail to be lost. However, I hope to try cutting this again soon in a larger size to preserve some of that detail! Overall it cut much better than I anticipated first try.

I’m struck by the way you used rastering to use color to portray depth and structure in the wings.

I’m struck by the vastness figure with the great expanse of the wings to the thinner body. It’s really eye catching and I appreciate the use of rasters to draw greater contrast.
