As described in my Lantern Design post my lantern is a cardboard box that I cut using the smaller laser cutter and finger joints. I then glued some purple paper to the inside of the panel containing the design cutout so that the light would have a purple glow because the light I used to illuminate the lantern was simply my phone’s otherwise white flashlight.
