I suggest that you add a little more design flair like maybe angling the slots or using some triangular shapes. I like the overall design and concept though.
From an engineers perspective I love the handle with the pocketing! You could try doing the pocketing only partially through the piece. This should give a nicer surface to grip. What’s the purpose of the gears on the other end from the “blade”.
I would suggest using real bearings for the pivots, and adding metal weights to make it better to play.
Do you think the gears could limit the range of motion compared to a real version.
