Altered Toys Design

For my altered toy I plan to print figurines. Me and my sister used to play with small characters a lot when we were much younger, I hardly remember it now but I figured I could cross that memory with something I enjoy now which will once again be Destiny 2. I managed to extract some game files containing the models of some of the enemies but they were never meant to be made into anything physical so I needed to do a significant amount of model adjustments and repairs using Blender. I finished repairing a personnel carrier called a Thresher and one of the units from the enemy faction that uses Threshers called a Psion. Below is a screenshot of the Cura slicer preview of the models to be printed.

It might be interesting if you painted your Destiny figures or made them a platform to stand on that looks like a Destiny environment.

I would suggest looking into if laying the figure on its back would affect how much supports the struct has.

I think metallic paint could look really cool.

What if you made the space ship in parts and bigger so the character can fit in it or the other way around.

What color do you plan on printing the design? Do you plan to paint the models once you print them? I’d suggest getting the smallest layer height you can to try to preserve detail.

I would suggest printing it in multiple parts or changing how the support is attached, so that you don’t have very much support to take off, and it wont stick to the figures as much.
