For my lantern project I decided to go with a 3:2 aspect ratio kerf bent box that displays a night time mountain/moon scene. The housing will be made of wood and then the three inner panels will be clear or colored acrylic that is under lit with LED strip lights.
One question I have is whether or not I should add another layer and some more detail or leave it as it is currently designed.
i think it looks lovely as it currently is, but if you wanted it to be a bit more interesting, you could add trees, or maybe even raster detailing to the mountains!

It looks great with the current number of layers I my opinion. My question is just which layers will be clear acrylic and which will be colored?
I love how you combined layer with your lantern project! How are you planning on attaching the acrylic layers into your box? are they Mounted with finger joints or glued?
