Introduction and Portfolio

My name is Taylor Frederick (she/her) and I am from Santa Barbara, CA. I am studying art as my humanities depth topic currently, so art is involved in my goal of graduating. I have really enjoyed doing art as my depth because it allows me to have a creative project I can work on and gives me a break from my other engineering focused courses. I have taken AR 1100 Essentials of Art which exposed me to different design concepts and drawing techniques. I also took AR 1101 Digital Imaging and Computer Art which taught me more about composition and how to use Photoshop. Some of my other creative pursuits include dancing and crafts such as sewing, knitting, crochet and others. I also enjoy the process of mechanical design and it is the focus of my studies.
