This is my first successful lasercut piece. I don’t think it’s included in any of the 3 projects but I am very proud of her. My idea for her started out as simply creating a biblically arrurate angel (what is her “head”), and then kinda grew into her body as a whole. I didn’t think a lot for her concept, I just took a lot of creative liberty and created a sketch that later turned into a lasercut piece. I struggled to make her accurate quite a bit, and I’m happy she turned out so well.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    For this project, I wanted to create a story-book feeling. I took an Ukranian fairytale that my mom used to tell me as a kid (Firebird) and recreated a scene from it. This project is made from paper, and was very tedious to put together as the pieces were so small and got lost so easily, and were fairly fragile. Overall, I really like how this project turned out.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
