It was a long wait to get back into the laser cutter but I was able to get all of my pieces and some extras cut. It is still a work in progress as there is a lot of gluing, sanding, assembly, lighting and painting left to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls \/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>For the see through portion of the tiles, I decided to use clear acrylic as I couldn&#8217;t find a see through black acrylic that I liked. This actually has been working out better than I thought because I can sort of use the brush stroke to mimic a grain of wood.
