Since I always want a LEGO mug since I was 3, sadly the first and only time I went to Legoland they were out of stock, so by the power of Tinkercad I decide to create one my own. The mug design is pretty simple, and for the handle, it is a combination of 2 cylinders and 1 sphere. But only the mug is kind of plain (and the mug would be lonely too), so I just come up with making another cup holder, that is a simple base with my favorite character from the Lego movie, BENNY! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I mean, why not, he is such an extra character…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took the minifigure design from Jack M. : https:\/\/www.tinkercad.com\/things\/izfptoVJvru-lego-minifigure-template-lego-template<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I created his helmet, I do not know how to make it look like the original where the bottom parts are ripped to look broken like this : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I can use my paper cutter after the 3d printing is done anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also made his face : 2 eyes and mouth with a tounge, the tounge part was the hardest of them all. But I want him to look as “Benny” as possible so I did my best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the tanker part, I have to make the bottom and top part seperately. Then group them together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the sticker on his spacesuit I think I would print them on fabric or plastic then stick them on later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
