I have waited for so many days but seems like my Japanese clay will not arrive in time for this project, so I will save it for a later project. This is also the project that I have to retry the laser cut most (4 times!) as the pieces is not fitted with the right width, the cut did not come off, or the laser just brunt the small details and multiple times fixing my design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luckily, I have my laser cuts at last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So after trying various LEDs, I decide to plug the flaming LED effect in my old desk lamp and sacrifice the one side of the lantern. I did try smaller LED as some advice in class but the light is not “shining” enough to make the shadow effect that I want to on the wall. And I also take off the sand paper that was on my original design as the paper dilute the lit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why I still choose the LED although it is too big to put inside : The color vibe is amazing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe if I have another chance to remake the lantern again (as the makerspace is pretty far from where I’m living), I sure I would make a bigger (and thicker material) so that the LED will fit perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
