When I went to cut my initial design it did not assemble correctly and over all didn’t really work. I decided that I would try and stick with the same idea but design the structure in a different way so that it would actually come together this time. Here’s a screenshot of my updated design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also figured that since I plan for the paper pieces to fit in and be interchangeable, I thought it would be fun to test out some cool designs from a video game series called Yakuza in place of the trees. I will likely do both. Another thing I decided to change is to switch from cutting the paper to engraving it, that way you would be able to see the candle inside the box through the paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
