I should have the whole project finished by tomorrow afternoon. The most major one is that I want to fill some of the negative space on the baby penguin, by adding another piece between the stomach of the baby penguin and the adult penguin. I also am planning on adding supports to the back of the piece so it can stand on its own. One thing I noticed while I was cutting it is that the larger pieces took more passes than the smaller ones, so while I was cutting it the smaller pieces would fall in and then the successive passes would cut less precisely, so in order to fix that I&#8217;ll have to recolor the smaller pieces in the svg file so I can independently decide the number of passes and laser power for the big and small pieces. Since I decided that I wanted to have the piece be freestanding and the backdrop will be semi-transparent I&#8217;ll probably place the supports so that they are hidden by the penguins in the foreground. What do you think of the placement of the penguins relative to the rest of the piece?
