Sydney – Altered Toys Project

on

Here is my final Altered Toys Project! I had so much fun learning to use the 3D printer, and I can’t wait to model stuff over the summer and print them next year! In the end, I made the Rubik’s cube planter with drainage holes, and a base to go underneath and catch the drained water. I really like how the clear filament turned out looking, and I decided against painting this one, because I wanted people to be able to notice that it was 3D printed. the only part I am not happy with is the marks that the tree supports left. I am pretty sure that some of them failed and fused to the side of my piece where I didn’t think it would. Next time I will be printing without the supports.
