Here is my altered toy design! It is a rubik’s cube planter, and I plan to plant one of my little succulents in it! Initially I was just going to do the rubik’s cube planter, but after deciding I wanted some drainage, I designed a little saucer to go underneath and catch the water. I am the type of person that likes functionality in my art, and since I also love plants, I though this was the perfect crossover! I loved playing with the rubik’s cube when I was little and into high school, and as a college student I love plants (and the rubik’s cube still)! I plan to have it printed white and possibly paint it as an unsolved version of the rubik’s cube.
