Lantern Project Lantern Project Update – Sydney Posted by Sydney on April 26, 2021 Here is my Work in progress of my lantern project. I have stained the wood dark, and in the next few days, I will begin polying and gluing the paper on. Hoping to have a finished product by Thursday at the latest!

Hello Sydney! I think your design came out very clean and unique. What did you use to stain the wood? The color is very rich!
I used an oil based walnut colored stain, and then I used a top coat over it to seal it in!
