It’s getting near to a holiday in my country – Hung Kings’ Anniversary, to how deep gratitude towards their origins and ancestors. So I decide to make a little inking piece of the woman in the Hung Kings’ Festival: she will wear Vietnamese traditional clothes (not AoDai, can you guess it ?) and a huge hat made by conical. The women in this festival every year always have something that attracts me with their kindness and elegant beauty of the Eastern.
These ladies can tell you fortune and do tarots in the festival.
My drawing with p5Js is made while I saw the first raining of the Spring season in where I’m living. I was so excited, but the sky was darker than any days even though it was just 3pm in the afternoon.. as if…
it was a rain from mountain hall.
So with a little experience in coding, luckily p5js is nicer than java, I use some random loop to create the strokes, sticking them together by the bubble sort fcn. After an amount of time editing the code, I got the result to be like this :
And yet, I forgot to save my file, but if you want to create the piece I can explain it for you.
It was 4am in the morning when I realized I just finnished my first creative coding.
I’ve had to get some sleep, see you again with the completed wooden artpieces.
