I finished the cuts last night and painted them, I ended up painting the parts of the dolphins that were below water light blue so you could tell they were underwater, and made the frame a blue shade as well since the natural wood color was super distracting from the dolphins.



I love how the dolphins were slightly stained at the parts that are underwater, it was a nice added detail. I also love the simplicity of the color scheme and keeping the natural wood look as well.
I appreicate how you left the dolphins as normal wood, it really contrasts with the blue painted water. I also like how the dolphins are at different orientations, it really gives the piece movement.
