For my first cut I decided to cut my very first design on inkscape. Looking forward to many more cuts.

I am pleased by how playful you were able to make this feel.

I noticed how you made the door not a perfect rectangle. The bend in the left side of the door gives the whole light house a cool effect.

I noticed that there is a hole at the top of the lighthouse! I appreciate that you made it into a pendent.

Being from Cape Cod, I can appreciate this piece as it reminds me of home! The freehand, flowing lines are nice on the eye and pleasing. Great job!

Hi Hannah! I noticed how you used a set of concentric circles in your piece, one for engraving and one for cutting. I think it creates a good border for the inner piece and creates harmony and simplicity in the piece. Nice job!

Hi Hannah! The geometry in this piece really struck me. Your use of strong straight lines combined with the circles and spirals really makes this a very aesthetic piece to look at.

Hi Hannah! I noticed that the grain of the wood is almost in line with your design and think it adds an extra touch to the piece! It came out really great!

I notice that you used a vactor cut to draw attention to the lighthouse light. I appreciate this choice because at a real lighthouse I often feel my gaze pulled towards the light (like a bug to a bulb) and it comes off truthful and simple, simple truth of beauty.
