It was my first time ever using the laser cutter, and I was really excited to do it! It was a lot of stuff to remember how to set up the cutter the second time I went back, but worth it. I can’t wait to go back for my layers project.

So far I’ve only cut out my Perry the Platypus drawing. I really like how it came out, the only thing I would’ve changed is putting a whole in it to make it a keychain.

I had some issues with my exported files not containing all the drawn lines, but today the problem was solved! (kinda solved, I had to have the lines redrawn) I am happy with the way these turned out.

For my first cut I decided to cut my very first design on inkscape. Looking forward to many more cuts.

My little mushroom came out well, I’m just proud I used the laser cutter on my own. I photographed it sitting on my computer screen so I could choose a cute background for it and put it in its habitat with some friends.
