I have finally finished my lantern project!! I took quite a long time to do one coat of dark stain and three coats of poly, and let them all dry inbetween! I then had to carefully super glue the paper to the inside of the wood pieces. In the end, I decided not to glue the actual pieces together because first of all, with the poly and kerf, the pieces fit together very tightly, and second of all, I wanted to be able to take it apart for transportation. I am so proud of this project, especially since its my first finished project for this class! Next up will be my layers project!
