Hi I’m Emily and I’m from Connecticut. Art fits into my life as a time spent doing whatever I want to make something. If I make a mistake, I work around it or change what I’m doing so the mistake is no longer a mistake. As a result, some canvases get painted over a lot. As a life goal I hope I still will be able to do art in some way through out it, in whatever form I can. I definitely have more experience in traditional art than in digital art, both from classes I’ve taken and in making art on my own. Other creative arts I’ve practiced in the past were ballet for several years and theater in high school. As of right now my creative forms are in baking, painting, and attempting to knit. The featured image was from my first attempt at making macarons.

Hi Emily, I will give you the thought-provoking badge. I really like your dark nature landscape piece. Also what flavor of macaroons are they?
Inventive: I really like your art style and how use use color and brushwork to paint.
I’m going to give you the dark badge. The way that the colors pop from the monochrome backgrounds makes each piece stand out. The macarons look delicious.
Inventive: Wow your paintings are cool – I could spend a long time looking at them. I especially love the movement in the piece that looks like flowers.
Hi Emily! I am going to give you the dark badge- I love your painting of space and how the colors pop.
Hi Emily! I think your painting are rather colorful and thought provoking! Keep up the good work!
Hey Emily, your paintings are so colorful, their compositions are interesting. I’m also giving you the impressive badge because of the macarons, I’ve tried making them a few times and it never quite worked as well as it appears your first attempt did!
Hi! I am giving you the inventive badge because I really appreciate how many different styles of painting you have, especially your use of texture in your second image.
Hi Emily!! The first thing I noticed about your drawings were the colors, so I’m going to give you the colorful badge. I really like how you used a lot of colors for your pieces and tied them all together. Also, those macaroons look delicious :))
Hi Emily! I’m going to give you the inventive badge as well! I have found it really hard to do artwork that is even close to abstract, and I can see how much work you have put into your pieces to get them just right! Can’t wait to see what you do in class. (Also macarons are super difficult to make and yours look delicious!)
Colorful and thought-provoking! The 3rd painting from the top is really neat. It’s use of color and abstract quality really gives a nice result.
Hi Emily! I am going to give you the colorful badge because I love all the colors you used in your artwork. I really enjoyed how you use color in some of the more abstract pieces because it made me think about many possibilities.
Hey Emily! I also enjoy baking! I’ll give you the colorful badge because your art really pops!! I can’t wait to see what you create in class.
I’m going to give you the colorful badge, Emily! There are some really cool and different color combinations in some of your pieces that give a uniqueness to the work all together. I’m currently trying to perfect my macron recipient, yours look delicious!
Cute: I also love baking and really appreciate a good looking culinary masterpiece, and I also loved your pink and green flower-looking painting.
Hi Emily! I’m going to give you the quirky badge, mostly because in your paintings I see you painting with motion and fluidity more than concrete shapes and structures. This isn’t the approach most people take, but that makes your paintings stand out and look really beautiful in a way that’s fairly uncommon!
Hi Emily, I’d like to give you the colorful badge for your really amazing and fun paintings and also for the macarons! I tried making them once with a friend and they came out nothing close to right and yours look so perfect and delicious! Well done 🙂
