I thought about adding words to the comic, but I’d rather have the pictures tell the story. Here’s my final project:

Making hands and feet is hard so I’ve decided that Detective Lopez’s Trench coat is just way too big for him so his hands or feet don’t come out of it. He looks pretty blocky right now but I hope to fix him up and make him look more like an actual body shape. Anyways, here’s a couple renders of my favorite rat man:
And here he is in my scene:
So I know what you’re all thinking, but I promise you, my actual model of this scene will be better. Now on to the story.
Detective Lopez got a call about a murder from the police department of the small town of Trilsborough. Lopez is from out of town, but was called in because Trilsborough doesn’t have many experienced detectives. He shows up to the scene and this is what he sees. The mayor of Trilsborough lies dead in a pool of blood on the floor with multiple stab wounds. Lopez next looks towards the broken window and notices the snow outside. He goes to the window and looks outside to see footprints that lead to the road and then disappear. He thinks to himself “What happened here?”. Can you figure what happened to the mayor?
My collage consists of 5 total images. I wouldn’t quite say this photo describes me quite that well but it certainly has a few things I like. When I set out to make my collage, I wanted to avoid having a mess of different things all jumbled together. In order to achieve that, I’ve taken a slightly less expressive route to instead focus more on the overall composition. I enjoyed working on this piece and my favorite aspect is its color palette. I guess now I’ll explain all of the images. The background is a city because I like cities in general. I blurred it out because I thought it looked cool. My glasses are from a nice picture I found with a nice looking starry sky because, ya know, space and all. The shirt is a retrowave desktop background because I love the style. Finally, the backpack straps are that old pattern that was on the cups because who doesn’t love that.
