Simple scene, simple story line.
I wish i had more time to put into this project, but this what i can do with limited time.
Hope you like it

added texture to scene
Continued from part one…
I made the basic shape of the police office in maya by doing extrusions, and formed the basic shape and pose.

Then I sent this model to ZBrush for subdivisions and smoothing.

I add 5 subdivision levels and tried to do as much smoothing technics as i can remember from 3d modelling class (apparently not much).
: )

If you still remember what my story is about: a boy and dog made a mess in the room and left the scene. It would only make sense to have a character in the scene as the person who are trying to understand what’s happening. So here it is, the police officer. I drew it more like a cartoon character, he has robust torso and slim legs, with a pistol hanging on the belt.

Here is the object scene i made. There are a few things i still don’t know how to do, such as 2d drawing, making correct renders, and ways to transform 2d sketch into 3d. This is what i’ve got for now.
Excuse my English, I’m so bad at writing >_<
Lucas is a school boy, and he has a lovely dog called “shrimp”. One day, Lucas finished he’s school work and started watching tv on the couch, while shrimp was eating he’s food in the bowl. Suddenly chaos happened when Lucas spilled his drink on his school work, and shrimp started licking the floor. Lucas tried to get his paper back but the dog insisted on holding it. Then the goose chase went on, they were on and off the couch, and the baseball broke the window… Finally shrimp ran off, yelling sound disappeared into the distance, and of course Lucas slammed the door on his way out.
Police was called when Lucas’s parents returned home and found the mess in Lucas’s room. Can you tell what happened from the picture?

I made a 3d model of the robotic arm from RBE3001 class. I’m currently taking this class, and i have to do labs for hours and hours staring at the arm, so why not make a model of it for another class?

Original:

This was a photo taken when i was volunteering in Sri Lanka to take care of turtles. It took me a while to create separate masks for me and the turtle. Also this is the first time of my trying the double saturation effect, so i just played round with different blend modes and image adjustments until i got the effects i want. The turtle turned out pretty good in my opinion, but i couldn’t find a good blend mode for the torso and legs, so those parts ended up to be pretty much entirely covered by the fill images.
The illusion i wanted to make is a turtle flying in the air, where there is a night background right above and a land background right below.
The grass field background for the legs is taken from juliefletcherphotography.com, and the torso background is one of the cover artworks form the music game Deemo.

I drew a virus jumping around inside an corpse. I vaguely recall watching a gameplay or animation of the same concept, like controlling a virus character to explore the human body that kind of thing, and i really want to find that game. So there it is a pixelated illustration of that idea.
From you can tell, I am a video game person, and it’s also part of the reason i like digital art. I like to play around with amazing artworks and eventually know enough to make my own great artwork.
Subtraction:
I made this word into a math calculation, subtracting parts of the word from original word and result in the new shape.
Inflation:

I wanted to create an effect of the fish eyeball lens, the word inflation expands in an oval shape and i chose a thick type font to make this effect stronger
Buoyancy:

I used letters from the word “Buoyancy” in different size and font to draw a big-head guy floating on the water, and he’s playing around with a little fish
