
I thought it would be interesting to take a still life photo of a flower/vase presentation, and to focus only on one element of it. I could have erased the flower, but the effect of leaving the flower suspended appeals more to me as a way of adding interest and provoking thought, especially since the image itself loses some interest once the bottle is taken away.

Maybe you can do something with the shadows as well? I know it will be hard but at least you cant try to wipe off shadows form the base of the bottle
I think it is cool that you left the shadow of the bottle. I think another cool idea would be if you removed both the flower and the bottle, but then kept the shadow.
I think the choice of leaving the shadow works for this. It almost seems as if the shadow is of the flower and leaves the viewer to determine what is holding up this flower. Very thought provoking!
