I really like how you made your trees. I like the life-like shape and quirkiness of them. However, it would be nice if they had color besides gray.
I like the realism in your objects. I think to improve this, you could have made them better sized. For example, the stump of the tree is smaller than the backpack and the glasses are the same size as the water bottle.
Personally, I like the grey background because it seems as though the scene is at night which makes in difficult to see some of the colors. Especially with the element of the flashlight, having the background washed out looks interesting and a little spooky!
I like the trees you included in your scene, it helps makes it look like a forest. I think adding some color to the ground and trees would make your scene look even more realistic.
I like the sparseness of the wood setting. I think it might need a bit more trees spaced out, however. The items, however, look somewhat still. you might want to tilt them here and there to add a bit of suspense.
