Mysterious Objects Part 2

This is the completed scene I have created of the shipyard. I included a low angled, zoomed view for a better perspective. The images of the clue objects are also included below.

  1. I really like how populated your scene is with various crates and barrels. It helps the scene feel like one unified place rather than an assortment of various objects strewn together.

  2. I really like how accurate your objects are. The curve in the hatchet is subtle but adds a lot of character to it. I like how you also added light posts/ shorepower to the dock. I’m excited to see how this turns out.

  3. The amount of detail you put into this is great. Your anchor is really impressive. I think if you colored your house a color other than gray, it would be spot on (like maybe a white).

  4. I like how true to your concept art you were, and how detailed your objects are, especially the hatchet. One thing I would suggest is playing around with depth in the scene a little more. You could always extend the warehouse back or add another dock to the side,, either way, it would avoid the scene just ending in black.

  5. Each element is well made, and the scale of the scene is just right. Without reading the story, I don’t feel a lot of mystery though. I look forward to seeing how this develops with textures, especially the water!

  6. I love all the detail that you put into the scene! The objects have incredible detail, and makes the scene really come together. The dock is also incredibly realistic as well, with all the spokes going into the water and the anchor.

  7. I love how complete your scene is! There’s so many objects, all of which have been carefully crafted and placed to bring the scene together. Really great work here.
