The organic shapes of the dolls were new for me, but I’m happy with how the models turned out. The posing was a little difficult. I haven’t used NURBS before, so I tried experimenting with those on the curtains, the pot, and the spools of thread. Lighting and render settings continue to confound me. The book text is a little small, but they read: Stitching, Soul Binding, and Human Transmutation. Enjoy

The models for the dolls definitely turned out great, the poses create the appearance of them dangling. They’re made up of simple, toy-like shapes (though I’m sure a lot of work went into making them).
I think this scene turned out terrific. You did a really nice job on making the dolls look like actual dolls and I really like the button eyes on each of them.
Your doll came out really well. I think it’s a great mix of looking real while still representing the creepiness of it. I like how the ones in the background have enough detail that you know what they are but your attention is still drawn to the main one.
I really like how you changed the lighting to change the mood in the scene. The shadows really add to the scary/creepiness in the scene. I also really like how you positioned the dolls so it actually looked like they are being hung. Nice job.
Thanks for the nightmares lol. Your dolls are amazing and the lighting across their figures is stunning. Nice job!
This whole scene looks really good, everything in it seems to be modeled very well from the doll which looks very detailed to the books and scissors. The lighting and shadows also help to make the scene even more believable.
The lighting in this scene makes it 100x more realistic. Kind of reminds me of a scene from Toy Story. Also, I love your realism in the dolls with the head tilted to make it look lifeless.
I think you nailed the shapes of the dolls and I also love the strings holding them. The lighting makes the scene look way more realistic (even if the shadows didn’t come out too well in the render). I also like the colors you chose.
The modeling and coloring of the books and shelf is good, but your true skill is demonstrated in the modeling of the doll. The different polygons transformed into the doll really do an accurate portrayal of a real doll. The lighting of the scene also gives off a mysterious mood.
The dolls look incredibly rendered, and I love the lighting effect on them. They poses that you chose for them are excellent, they look quite realistic.
Nice job putting so many objects into such a small space, however not overcrowding it. The colors of the doll and books really make them stand out from the background, however changing the wall color slightly may help see the second, brown doll.
As everyone else has said, the scene itself is woderful, but I’m just really blown away by this camera angle and lighting you used to get these renders. Really awesome!
