“I am a detective trying to discover what has happened here today at the zen garden. A murder of some kind has clearly transpired here, but how that murder was achieved is still a mystery. There is a leftover hammer that potentially belongs to the murderer, however it is most likely not the murder weapon. If a hammer of that size were used, there would be a lot more blood located everywhere than just the single rock. The gravel appears to be excessively disturbed, possibly meaning that the murderer and the victim fought beforehand. There is a faint outline of the victim’s fallen body, but there is no trace of the body. It appears to have been dragged away after the killing blow was made. Other smaller signs are a set of footprints approaching the area before the supposed scuffle happened. I currently need to figure out what the purpose of the hammer is suppose to be and, more importantly, who the killer is and what were his motivations.”

The concept art for the scene matches exactly what you’re trying to do with the mystery scenario. For me, I’d say the biggest challenge will be matching the sand texture with the concept art. However, if you can pull it off correctly then the rendered scene will look outstanding and borderline photorealistic.
