I don’t personally have a huge affinity for photos of myself or for collages, so my concept was relatively straightforward: find things I like, and see how well I could piece them all together. Represented are World of Tanks, Mobile Suit Gundam, music, Solidworks, and the Razer brand. I’ve blurred and desaturated the background for a depth of focus effect and to de-emphasize its importance. Many of my passions seem to be contained in another world apart from reality, be it digital or fantasy altogether. I wanted to show that by comparison it can be easy to find the real world somewhat lacking in vibrance and imagination.

I like how you added a pattern for the Razer logo around your head. I also really like how you added a reflection to your sunglasses. I think it would have been better if you made the tank only overlay on just the gray part of your sweatshirt (if it is actually gray, I’m just guessing that).
I like the amount of details you added especially the solidworks in the glasses. Personally I would have like the lines of some of the images be shaped around some of the objects a bit tighter like in the hood. Also I think you could have added a different background, even though you blurred it I think you could have added another part of yourself. Overall though I can get a real feeling of who you are and what your interested in.
The small glow in addition to the blurred background truly brings out the depth in this photo and brings the head out as a focal and center point of the image. The choice to separate the different personality aspects across distinct regions of the body highlights the fact that you’re composed of many different, but equally important things.
I love the way you chose to overlay you aspects of interest into the photo, some of them are rather obvious, like the Razer logos, while others take a minute to locate, like the BS Solidworks logo on your glasses. Its a really nice effect because you can revisit the photo and notice new elements, like easter eggs.
I think you did pretty well with the collage. the most interesting touches to the piece are the design halo and the reflected letters in the glasses, adding a sort of emphasis to your face in the picture. The total solidness of the designs on the hoodie make them seem like they were part of the hoodie originally; it worked with the overall look, but the only gripe I had was the way the instrument was integrated in. You might need to fade the instrument into the head a bit more, as a bit of it comes off in the hair. Otherwise, the concept for that area is pretty solid.
